Social Sculpture Research Forum at Oxford Brookes University

Beth Carruthers (Canada) and Alex Arteaga (Berlin and Barcelona) - will present their work as a basis for dialogue with each other and the audience.

The title of Beth's talk is:
CALL and RESPONSE:  Deep Aesthetics and the Heart of the World

Alex's talk is entitled:
PROCESS-RELATION-TRANSFORMATION: Embodiment, Sustainable Thinking and Aesthetic Practice

ART, CULTURE, SUSTAINABILITY  is a new series of symposia, seminars and conversations exploring the connection between ethics and aesthetics, between inner and outer work, and highlighting the link that E.M. Schumacher made several decades ago between 'the culture of the inner person' and our work toward a viable future.

"Art and Experience" seminar on artists residencies,
with special reference to the exchange faciltated by Petra Johnson between China and Europe.

This seminar wil take place at Oxford Brookes.
