Participating in Ueber Lebenskunst

From September 2010 for 1 year, Wolfgang Zumdick will be working as an 'advisor' to a small working group within the framework of the 'Ueber Lebenskunst' programme in Berlin. This programme was initiatied and funded by the German Cultural Foundation (Kulturstiftung des Bundes) and the House of World Cultures(Haus der Kulturen der Welt). Details of this collaboration will be posted as it develops.

Other recent work by Wolfgang Zumdick includes:

Co-curation of Energy Plan (September 2010)...the major new Beuys exhibition at Schloss Moyland, in Beuys' home town of Cleves. Wolfgang is also author of one of the catalogue essays.
The catalogue in English and German, is only available from the museum.

Everybody is an Artist: the art of changing one's mind(set). Lectures and 6 -day seminar programme at the Royal Melbourne institute of Technology, Department of Arts (together with Shelley Sacks) June 2010.

Speaker on the symposium ' The Human Image in our Time' [„Das Menschenbild in unserer Zeit"] in the Darmstädter Kunsthalle. The title of Wolfgang's talk: 'The Human Being as Artist: the idea of social sculpture and its growing international relevance'.
